We Did It! London to Brighton for Ace

We had a magnificent fun day yesterday cycling from London to Brighton for Ace of Clubs, raising over £800 and still going! Thank you to you all for all your encouraging support, it kept us pedalling!

With our team made up of some members, volunteers, supporters and staff of Ace of Clubs we managed the trip this year in just six hours. We were happy to see the coast with our bodies (and bottoms) aching after some tough hills but having had a wonderful festive journey along the way with a couple of us who just had to cool down with a chilly dip in the ocean. The money raised will now go towards the costs of us opening our centre to feed 100 – 120 local homeless and vulnerable people per day over the coming winter… and so the generous and caring work of Ace of Clubs continues to change people and their prospects in the most difficult times those suffering at the hands of disadvantage and poverty in our area have faced for many years. Another Ace Team effort – ‘a fantastic, confidence building cycle ride’ is over – Watch this space for our next Ace Bike Club challenge!
